Instructions

In a pan over low heat, saute the bacon for about 1-2 minutes on each side.

Divide the minced meat into 2 equal parts and shape the burgers very gently without pressing them at all. Season only the top and bottom of the burger with salt and pepper.

·Remove the bacon from the pan and place the 2 burgers.

Press them gently with a spatula, just enough to take shape, and sprinkle with 1 tbsp. olive oil.

As soon as they get colored on one side, turn them on the other side.

Place 1 slice of cheddar on each burger and 1 slice of bacon on top of the cheddar.

Remove the patties from the pan and set them aside.

Cut the burger buns in half.

Clean the pan with an absorbent paper, put 1 tbsp. olive oil and bake the buns for a few seconds, just enough to get color.

Remove the buns from the pan.

·Set up the burger by putting ketchup, 1 leaf of lettuce, the burger with the cheddar and bacon and 1 slice of tomato on the base of the bread.

Spread the mayonnaise on the lid and close the burger.

Place the second burger and serve.
